Prepared Foods Australia (PFA), the country's leading provider of health and aged-care prepared food solutions for over 25 years, has developed high protein soups and pureed vegetables specifically for the hospital, health and aged-care markets as part of its new Health Cuisine range of nutritionally balanced products.
The new high protein soups and vegetable purees add extra protein to patients' and residents' diets, particularly those with dysphagia (condition in which swallowing is difficult or painful), as even consumption of small amounts contributes to protein, energy and calcium intakes.

Cuisine's 130 products encompass the entire health care menu spectrum including

items and individual meals, all packaged ready to heat and serve. A complete
dietary analysis is provided for every product.
PFA currently supplies prepared meal systems to around 60 healthcare and aged
care facilities located in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and ACT.
The organisations PFA supplies range from 30 bed private facilities to 700
bed metropolitan public hospitals, and 80 to 200 bed government and not-for-profit
aged care facilities.
